Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information daviscreativ.com (“the site”) collects, why, and what happens to it. Davis Creativ is a one-person business based in Colorado. If you have questions, email davis@daviscreativ.com.

The short version

  • The site doesn’t use cookies for tracking or advertising, and doesn’t sell your information.
  • If you fill out the contact form, I keep what you send so I can reply to you.
  • The site uses a few Cloudflare services to run securely and to count visits without cookies.

Information you give me

When you use the contact form, the site collects what you type in: your name, email address, business name, website or Instagram handle, business location (city), the services you’re interested in, your budget range, your main goal, preferred times for a call, and any message.

Along with your submission, the site also records:

  • Where you came from: the page you were on, the website that sent you (the “referrer”), and any campaign tags in the link (UTM parameters, like utm_source). This shows me which marketing is working.
  • Basic technical details: your browser type (user agent) and a scrambled, one-way version of your IP address (a “hash”) that’s used only to block spam and abuse. Your actual IP address isn’t stored with your submission.

How it’s stored: submissions are saved in a database run by Cloudflare (Cloudflare D1). Only I can access it.

Email notifications: when you submit the form, a copy is emailed to me through Resend, an email delivery service. Resend processes the message only to deliver it.

Why: to reply to you, prepare for a strategy call, and keep a record of our conversation. I don’t add you to a mailing list or send marketing emails unless you ask.

How long: I keep form submissions for up to 2 years after our last contact, then delete them, unless we work together and longer records are needed for business or tax reasons. You can ask me to delete your information at any time.

Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person is submitting it, usually without any puzzle. Turnstile runs a short check in your browser and sends limited technical signals to Cloudflare. Cloudflare’s privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Visitor statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are popular. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t track you across other sites, and doesn’t build a profile of you.

Server logs

Like nearly every website, the servers that deliver this site (Cloudflare) automatically process technical information such as IP addresses, browser type, and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. These logs are kept briefly and aren’t used to identify you.

Things the site stores in your browser

If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it. The site also remembers, for the current visit only, that you’ve already seen the opening animation. Neither is sent to me or to anyone else.

Who I share information with

Only the service providers above (Cloudflare and Resend) that help run the site, and only to provide their service. I don’t sell, rent, or trade your information. I may disclose information if required by law.

Your choices and rights

You can ask me to see, correct, or delete the information I have about you by emailing davis@daviscreativ.com. I’ll respond within 30 days.

Children

The site is for businesses and isn’t directed at children under 13. I don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, I’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
